The new logical view displays all CVS folders as
if they are package folders.  It makes the view
extremely cluttered.  Will there be some way of
filtering these folders from the logical view
(even if i don't use integrated CVS functionality)?

This issue was solved long time ago. Because nobody has reopened it neither
added comments, we are verifying/closing it now. 
If you are still able to reproduce the problem, please reopen.
