Description vbrabant 2004-05-20 13:59:30 UTC
NB200405181800 & JDK 1.4.2

Steps to reproduce:
1. File | New Project | Projects With Existing
Sources | Java Project With Existing Sources
2. Click on Next
3. Select any directory for the Source Packages
4. Select any directory for the Test Packages Folder.
5. Give a Project Name and Project Location
6. Click on Finish

Select Files Window
You see
  Source Packages
  Test Packages

I would like to propose the following:

src --> the path of the source
test --> the path of the test

And, if possible, other icons for MyTestProject,
src and test to indicate clearly that it's a
special project, and that src and test are not
true subdirectories, but are somes kind of links
to the real path.
Comment 1 Jesse Glick 2004-05-20 14:58:21 UTC
I think this is dupe of a filed issue that the Files tab has to be
changed to match the spec w.r.t. external source roots. The current UI
was implemented provisionally just to make sure external source roots
could work somehow.
Comment 2 Petr Hrebejk 2004-05-24 11:47:26 UTC
Yes shis is a duplicate. Howewer the spec. may differ a bit from the
proposed solution.

This issue was solved long time ago. Because nobody has reopened it neither
added comments, we are verifying/closing it now.
If you are still able to reproduce the problem, please reopen.

Thanks in advance.
