Description Marek Grummich 2004-06-22 14:18:14 UTC
Build 200406211800, JDK 1.4.2

Steps to reproduce:
1) Invoke 'inplace' rename on some bean patterns
2) Enter new name, hit Enter
3) Name, source code are changed, but no
refactoring action (rename) is invoked

Next thing - Old Rename action is presented in the
popup menu.
Comment 1 Jan Becicka 2004-06-24 17:38:53 UTC
Inplace rename should be disabled.
Comment 2 Jan Becicka 2004-07-02 08:50:45 UTC
We don't have resources to rewrite beans module to do full
refactoring-like rename.
Quetion for Marek and for Dusan:
Should I change this issue as ENHANCEMENT, or close it as WONTFIX, or
fix this issue by disabling rename functionality for Promo-D.
Personally I prefer change issue type as ENHANCEMENT, because it works
the same way as in NB 3.6.
Comment 3 Marek Grummich 2004-07-02 10:34:17 UTC
I agree with ENHANCEMENT, although a described scenarion can cause
uncompilable project.
Comment 4 Jan Becicka 2004-07-02 11:31:23 UTC
-> ENHANCEMENT for future

Maybe this is dependent of or duplicated?
Comment 10 David Strupl 2009-03-31 15:41:44 UTC
Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".

this issue is about renaming bean patterns node in Explorer. This node was removed long time ago
