Description chethaase 2004-08-30 17:18:03 UTC
I just installed NB 4.0 beta 1. I wanted to put
the software in a non-default directory, so I
clicked on the "Browse" button. The button
depressed, but nothing else happened. When I
moved the mouse off the button, the button
un-depressed, as if I had clicked on the mouse
button and held it (as opposed to clicking and
releasing).

I tried this several times and never got the
Browse button to work. I ended up typing in the
path where I wanted to put NB manually.

I bet you have JDK 1.5 beta installed. which build?
Comment 2 chethaase 2004-08-30 17:26:17 UTC
I have a couple of Java verisons installed, so I'm not sure which one
it's picking up, but I assume it's the latest one: jdk1.5b2. Is this
a known bug with that release (and hopefully one that's fixed in RC)?
Comment 3 _ ttran 2004-08-30 18:23:54 UTC
yes, there is a known bug in tiger beta. Has been fixed in b60 I
think. Marek can find the other bug report which has more information
and mark this one as its duplicate

Marking this as a dup sounds fine. I did a quick search to see if it
was submitted already but didn't spot anything obvious.
