Description fiqbal1 2004-09-25 16:13:45 UTC
I am working in JBuilderX and want to port over to
netbeans but ALAS! when i open any gui class
(forms etc.) designed in jbuilderx, i couldn't get
netbeans to open it and later found that netbeans
uses a XML format .form file from where its
designer reads the components et al. I want u
people@netbeans to atleast ADD A WIZARD TO
NETBEANS WHICH CAN IMPORT EXISTING GUI CLASS FILES
AND GENERATING THE CORRESPONDING FORM FILE FOR ITS
GUI DESIGNER! IT WOULD SURELY SIMPLY THE SWITCH
FOR ALL US HARASSED USERS WHO WANT TO SWITCH TO
NETBEANS BUT CAN'T DUE TO ITS LOUSY LACK OF THIS
FEATURE! PLEASE CONSIDER IT AS THIS WILL GIVE US
FREEDOM TO PORT OVER TO NETBEANS! I HOPE THIS
FEATURE FINDS ITS WAY INTO FINAL VERSION OF NETBEANS 4
THANKS!
