Description _ gtzabari 2005-01-11 17:48:06 UTC
Currently, there is no way to calculate insets
algorithmicly (say, using dialog units under
Windows) when using the form editor.

Expected behavior: should be able to specify
ADVANCED and specify "post-creation code" or
something.

I filed this as an enhancement, but please keep in
mind that it is impossible to do this operation
without a fix so please consider fixing it sooner
rather than later.

The layout constraints don't support "advanced code options" due to historically
limited way of persting these values. It would require to upgrade the
persistence mechanism, format, etc which is not a trivial task. Not sure when we
can get to this.

I've just found there is already issue 32367 which is technically right about
this problem.
