IDE settings are not completly imported automatically when starting qbuild 200503291306 first time It was the first time, that taking over the configuration of the existing 4.0-installation was processed. Great! (I don't know if it works when I change netbeans_default_userdir="${HOME}/.netbeans/dev" to "${APPDATA}/.netbeans/dev"; see Issue 49813) But not all options have been taken over: - favorites - element selector combobox in editor - UI mode settings
This issue was reported in NetCAT 4.1 program.
On starting NetBeans 4.1 RC1 I was asked, if I want to import the settings of NetBeans 4.0. But what's about importing the settings of NetBeans 4.1 dev ? There should be a choice between 4.0, 4.1 dev and all other installed versions.
There is supported just import from previous version of NetBeans whereas not all settings are unavoidably imported (which are imported and which not depends on module owners). Import for settings of dev builds isn't supported.
