Proxy settings dialog is currently handling the only HTTP proxy.
Mobility project provides FTP and SCP deployment services that requires also
correctly set FTP and Socks proxies in the JVM.
Common dialog for setting all proxies will really help the usability.

If OD means Options Dialog and there will be no other confusing places for HTTP
proxy only (like current Setup Wizard) and your plans are to have it for the
next release - then great :)

core/options doesn't handle any panel for current categories, just infra.
Current hhtp.proxy is in Gemneral categoy maintained in editor/options.

Needs UI changes in Options dialog | General category. The rest of
infrastructure will support Socks settings since NB6.0/M5.

Jirko, you should better go and implement it yourself. There is nobody actively
working on editor/options as far as I know. Plus, I don't really see why this
panel is maintained by editor, besides of historical reasons of course. :-)

Lives in core/ui now. Maybe already fixed.

Already fixed in Options dialog.
