Sorry for the cryptic summary, but what I mean is that the option to see per line who created/changed that line is great, but it can take a lot of real estate. Having the option to define an alias per user (eg his initials) would be very beneficial. You would have the information right there, but you get to define how much screen real estate is consumed.
