Description markjl 2006-01-31 13:14:26 UTC
"Exadel" currently has a plug-in available to Eclipse users that has a very
nice GUI interface for developing in struts. With the plug-in you can add/edit
the struts-config.xml file through a GUI (plus code generation and much
more...) NB v5.0 seems to add to the struts-config file fine but lacks any type
of GUI for editing it or viewing how objects are mapped (with forwards etc...).

I tried this plug-in: 'http://www.jamesholmes.com/struts/console/' but it's
nowhere near as useful as the one from "Exadel".

The plug-in is available here:

Hi,

I've noticed that a preview of version 5.5 is currently released. I was
wondering if there were any plans to have a Struts GUI like the one described
above in this release or am I just dreaming?

Unfortunately we didn't have a time to implement this in NetBeans 5.5.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
