"Exadel" currently has a plug-in available to Eclipse users that has a very nice GUI interface for developing in struts. With the plug-in you can add/edit the struts-config.xml file through a GUI (plus code generation and much more...) NB v5.0 seems to add to the struts-config file fine but lacks any type of GUI for editing it or viewing how objects are mapped (with forwards etc...). I tried this plug-in: 'http://www.jamesholmes.com/struts/console/' but it's nowhere near as useful as the one from "Exadel". The plug-in is available here: http://www.exadel.com/web/portal/products
Hi, I've noticed that a preview of version 5.5 is currently released. I was wondering if there were any plans to have a Struts GUI like the one described above in this release or am I just dreaming? Mark
Unfortunately we didn't have a time to implement this in NetBeans 5.5.
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
