Description cayhorstmann 2006-06-25 16:28:14 UTC
I am importing a rather large project--the GlassFish source
( I don't want to compile it, just browse the
source code to understand it better.

In Eclipse, this is easy. I point the wizard at the root directory, and it
labors for a while, then it figures out the directory structure, by looking at
the source files and their package statements. (See attached screen shot.)

NetBeans has a dialog that invites me to enter the source directories (dozens,
in this project) by hand. It too should have an option to discover existing
source directories.

It's rather an enhancement than a defect

Makes sense, but NB 6.0 is already closed for features hopefully in 6.1
