Description Petr Nejedly 2006-09-07 14:18:52 UTC
Try opening e.g. TreeView and slightly modify it (add a space). From that
moment, your CPU will burn at full speed for another 30s (P-M, 1.7GHz). That
alone might not be considered a bug, but it causes e.g. much higher delay in
navigation over the file using Ctrl-click on identifier.
Comment 1 Jan Lahoda 2006-09-08 09:10:25 UTC
Most probably caused by the "is overridden" task. I am thinking about a set of
heuristics to make the computation less intensive.

I can disable this task for now, if it is desired.
Comment 2 Petr Nejedly 2006-09-08 17:15:39 UTC
So it highly depends on my set of opened projects? I have unreallistically many
of them these days...
Comment 3 Jan Lahoda 2006-12-12 12:51:54 UTC
Currently not in the build.
Comment 4 lilyevsky 2008-12-01 22:18:43 UTC
I noticed this behavior after I installed C++ plugin. The CPU utilization is 100% or more (fortunately I have 2 CPUs)

Resetting assignee to default for all bugs reported against product java and assigned to moonko.
