Description Petr Chytil 2006-11-07 13:52:38 UTC
NB 5.5 FCS (Build 200610171010) JDK 1.6.0-rc
Linux version 2.6.17-10-generic running on i386 (kubuntu 6.10)

I have dual monitor setup, nb main window on second monitor.

Tools | Options ->
Advanced Options dialog is opened on first monitor, even if moved to second one,
closed and opened again.

Is it possible to reproduce similar behaviour with SwingSet2 demo? I guess this
might be JDK/Swing error.
Comment 2 David Simonek 2006-11-23 15:08:23 UTC
Not reproductible on Win XP, seems to be window manager specific. Please try to
make little demo with main JFrame and non-modal JDialog parented to the JFrame,
opened on some action. If such test will work OK on your win setup, please
reopen with proper details, thanks.

I've tried to make that little demo with non-modal JDialog, which is called by
pressing button on it's parent frame. In this demo, it works properly. JDialog
is opened on the monitor, where it's parent at the moment is. So it doesn't look
like JDK/Swing bug.

In nb, advanced options dialog is opened on screen 1 _every time_ (even when nb
is on screen 2).
Options dialog behaves correctly - it is opened on screen, where nb are - other
dialogs also opens on screen, where their parent frame at the moment is.
