Description Lukas Hasik 2006-12-06 10:58:56 UTC
-there is no way how to change the device of the platform once it's added. There
is the SDK Configuration tool available for change of platform but user had to
change the device when he had added the platform.
-it would be nice to have a way how to change the device - it'd improve usability

User can change the device by running the SDKConfig.exe utility externaly from
IDE. Reason for not including access to the utility in the MP is unstability
of this tool. Sometimes change of the skin/device fails and user won't get any
message about it. We can take responsibility for such problems.
User can chose initiall device when installing the SEMC platform
SDKConfig.exe utility is located in <UIQ3SDK>\epoc32\tools\distrib\ folder

I do not think we can fix it on the IDE side
