Get deployment warnings on JBoss and Tomcat:

1. create a project
2. deploy to either tomcat or JBoss

The JBoss error message are here:
10:48:45,644 WARN  [Digester] [ComponentRule]{faces-config/component}
10:48:45,714 WARN  [Digester] [ConverterRule]{faces-config/converter}
10:48:45,714 WARN  [Digester] [ConverterRule]{faces-config/converter}

Tomcat errors are on the same rules.

Those warnings come somewhere out of the components or support libs. I don't
know what to do about them.

Evaluation (Entry 2):
But is it breaking anything? Warnings could be informational

Evaluation (Entry 3):
Not clear. QE was given a directive to log all warnings. Will downgrade.

Evaluation (Entry 4):
If its not breaking anything and the priority is lowered, why the severity is
still 2 ?
I guess it should be lowered too.

Evaluation (Entry 5):
sorry, didn't notice that.  Downgraded.

My bad... responded too quickly.
I spoke with Matt about it and he said he never saw this.
Hence marking it as works for me (in fact him). And please verify this.

I do not see this with tomcat 6.0.14/EE5 project, but I do still see it with tomcat 5.5/EE4 project. Tested with:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710040000)
Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b02
System: Windows Vista version 6.0 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

Matt, take it over...
Comment 6 Matthew Bohm 2007-10-05 07:54:19 UTC
Lark, can you try this with a plain jsf app, for instance jsf-guessNumber.war at:
