Currently there is no API for accessing/reusing Platform/IDE icons from various 
modules and no warranty that the icons will always be available with the same 
name on the same place where they are now "publicly" accessible. This results 
in duplicating the icons in many modules and subsequently not updating them 
when original icon changes.

An API for accessing common Platform/IDE icons should be introduced to address 
these problems, to allow better resources (both system and icon versions) 
manageability and to deliver better UI consistency across the IDE.
