In A1 enter: ="test"
In A2 copy cell of A1 then paste into input bar, then notice there is an extra
space at the end of the input bar and hit backspace, then notice that the
backspacing actually deletes the last real character in the cell view.

Confirmed on official OOo 3.0.1
