Description fabiomiranda 2009-06-30 06:48:14 UTC
In Spanish installation of OO, export PDF feature defaults to "noname.pdf" which
is confusing for sensible users.

I would advise, in the spanish case, to default to "sinnombre.pdf" "documento.pdf"

"noname" is an English expression, it has no sense for many spanish customers.

thanks,

fabio

NOTICE: This is valid only when the PDF export is called via "Send document as
attached PDF".

(Re-formulating summary. Adding detailed description)

This concerns all entries like:
- "File - Send - E-mail as..."
and
"File - Send - Document as E-mail"

1) Inconsistency
While in the English version an untitled document is called "Untitled 1", the
attached document will be called "noname" -> inconsistency.

Proposal: name the attachment "Untitled 1" or "Untitled_1" or "Untitled1" (in
case it would not be possible to escape the blank)

2) Localization
The name of an untitled attachment should be localized as well.
Checked in FR and ES version: the attachment is always "noname".

Note: wondering why this has never been mentioned in the G11n sections of
following specs ;) :
