Description gdmnt 2009-08-24 11:52:39 UTC
After creating a request (with the same parameter n times) and creating a report
based on this request, there is a problem.

When you try to open the request, you get the parameters windows with the same
parameter repeated as many time as you reapeated it in the request. Then the
report do not print correct results. It seems that it makes a difference between
each parameters.

The request is working correctly when you use it in the request module or as a
data source for a form (the parameter is asked only one time), but not in the
reports module.

I found this bug with Windows xp sp3 and Vista. I have no linux version to try
this bug on it.

(sorry if this report is not written correctly, it is my first...)

Please note that the reporting module you use is kind of deprecated. You are
encouraged to install the Sun Report Builder from
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/reportdesign. It will allow
for more flexible and more modern reports than what is built-in. (We hope to
include the SRB into normal OOo releases in the future, but at the moment, you
must install it separately.)

I know sun report builder but it does not work work properly on Windows. A first
bug do not allow to create a form (but it seems that it is known.

Hmm, I use the SRB on Windows on a regular basis. May I invite you to users@dba
(http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base_Mailing_List) to discuss your
problems?
