Detailed Description: This would be important for those customers who work on high resolutions. Presentation document works well on impress with resolution 1920x1200. But,2048x1536 comes up with a white screen, only with part o of slide visible. Don’t find any option like .... X ..... resolution, as in MS office. Works well in MS office for higher resolutions. Using a dell machine with 2GB RAM , 2.00GHz, 64 bit operating system with service pack 1. Drivers and video cards are properly installed and is working fine. Have not attached any audio or video files for the presentation. No other background process is running, except mp3 player. CPU usage is minimum. Have you been asked to send a crash report and did you receive an error id? I've been asked to send report. --------- Situation is exactly same as thimmaiah's. I'm using Vista x64 SP2 Czech. 3GB RAM. 4.10GHz (Intel Core i7 920). I also don't have attached any audio or video files for the presentation. No other background process is running. CPU usage is minimum. --------- Do you want to send screenshot? Or do you want video? I think it would be more useful to have the crash ID of the error report. You said you have been asked to send one - did you do so? Please catch up with this if you did not. Hmm, so sorry. Now there is no crash report. (Only windows says "searching for solution...", than there was button End process - so I mean that it was sent automaticaly, but nothing was sent) But I found: when disable hardware acceleration. All works fine. I'm using NVIDIA GTS 250 connected on PCIe x16 v2.0 When combining two monitors I can reproduce the problem with white screen with part of the slide. Reassigned. Similar problem here. With OOo 3.3.0, at a screen resolution of 2048 by 1152, the full screen presentation of e.g. http://www.scipio.org/Courses/Lectures_files/osSockets1-1.ppt just shows a white screen with an hourglass in the corner. It doesn't crash though. With another presentation the image was garbled and OOo became very slow when trying to exit the presentation. If I set the screen resolution to 1920 by 1080 before starting full screen presentation it works correctly. Display is Dell SP2309W on NVIDIA Quadro FX540 and running Windows XP (32) SP3. I have the same problem after upgrading my monitor to 2560x1440 pixels. Everything was fine beforehands (1920x1200 pixels). The presentation view doesn't crash but only shows partial vertical stripes at the edges of the display. And as honzakuchar mentioned (thanks, btw!), if I disable hardware acceleration in the general display settings, everything works fine with the high resolution. Using a NVIDIA graphics cards (GTX 460) with most recent drivers. So the temporary workaround until the bugfix is to disable hardware acceleration in the general display settings. Additional info, possibly helpful: I too am having the corrupted-display problem (without crashing) with Impress 3.4.1 on my WinXP 32-bit with 2560x1600 display and NVIDIA GT 9600 graphics card. I selected Slide Show, Slide Show Settings, Type, "Window", and then started my slideshow. As I vary the Impress window size, the corruption occurs when the client area is 2047 pixels wide or greater (as reported by Winspector Spy). 2046 or less looks fine. Height doesn't seem to matter. Related to #113859 Found workaround: When in settings disable hardware acceleration, presentation view starts working as expected. So this is probably somehow related to hadware acceleration.
