Description gleppert 2009-10-20 07:13:21 UTC
I am using OOo-dev 3.2 Beta and tried out the presentation module.

I added a comment to the slide. Then I started the slide show (the comment was
still open and readable) and OpenOffice.org severely crashed. Only a kill-9 from
a text console did help.

Reproducible: This happens always. Please find screen shot and example file attached.

(core 2 duo 2ghz and 2gb ram, ubuntu 9.04)

@wg:

IMHO the target milestone 3.x is too late. One cannot release 3.2 with this bug!
It took not more than 20 seconds playing with Impress 3.2 Beta to encounter this
crash. Furthermore, OpenOffice does not only crash and restart, but it freezes
and needs to be killed from a text console. Worst case for an average user.

Target set.
Comment 6 clippka 2009-10-20 15:26:38 UTC
this is not really a duplicate to issue 106068 but should be fixed with 106068.
I'm waiting for pl to fix the other issue and then I will re check this one.
Comment 7 clippka 2009-10-20 17:14:35 UTC
this is indeed fixed with issue 106068.

cl->wg: please verify this issue in cws ooo32gsl02 and set to duplicate.

I submitted issue 106102 since I think it is a user expectation that the impress
keyboard shortcuts like f5 for presentation also works while editing a comment.
Comment 8 wolframgarten 2009-10-21 08:54:49 UTC
Duplicate.
