Description r4zoli 2009-10-20 08:55:58 UTC
Open attached odb file.
It created in OOO320m2, copied tables from other file and existing reports,
added to their name "old".
Created some new, in edit mode they showed data, when reports run worked
differently, see attached screenshots in zipped file.
Run reports, some "old reports" worked correctly in m57, not showing chart.
Add new report with table as data source, select szoveg_datum_ertek table.
Add chart into report footer, select chart type, run report, report shows data.
Save report, save file, reopen file, run reports, they not showing chart.
Open report for edit, double click in chart, OS report soffice.bin crash, file
and report edit window remains open, after 30s closed.
Start OOo, file recovery starts and recover file. Close file. Reopen file some
reports showing charts some not.
It seems to me it is a regression, shows similar symptoms, but not same as it
was in issue 103588.

I am not sure I understand all problems you describe here ...

What I can easily reproduce is a crash:
- open the attached i106072.odb
- open the report "New_Bubble" for editing
- select the chart
=> crash

What I would like to do here: We declare this issue here as being about the
crash, and move everything else into a separate issue. Do you agree to this?
Comment 4 r4zoli 2009-10-21 21:05:12 UTC
Agree, if you feel that is necessary.

Crash happens when click into Bubble charts.

Other part is Bubble chart, and others not working in SRB which were worked in
m57, under some circumstances.
May be these symptoms connected:
old reports works.
New reports some works in creation time, if you close file - reopen file, report
not show chart, or crash when you try to edit it.

Okay, we will dedicate this issue here to the crash, and I'll see which other
issues I can reproduce, and submit them as separate issue.

fs->oj: please see my previous comment for a concise description of how to
reproduce the crash.
Comment 6 Frank Schönheit 2009-10-22 07:30:47 UTC
note: issue 106171 is about the line chart which does not work in OOO320.m2.
Comment 7 Frank Schönheit 2009-10-22 07:37:05 UTC
fs->r4zoli: I compared the output of all reports in the document (except the
bubble charts) between OOo 3.1.1 and OOO 3.2. Beta 1. The only difference I
found is that for "New_line_chart" and "New_pie", the chart does not exist
anymore when you execute the report. The two other reports ("Bar_old" and "Pie
chart Exploded_old") produced identical results in OOo 3.1.1 and OOo 3.2 Beta 1.

So, the only issue I see here, besides the crash, are the vanishing charts,
which now is issue 106171. Is there more?
Comment 8 r4zoli 2009-10-22 08:08:42 UTC
No more issue, than crash in this issue, and vanishing charts in issue 106171.
