Description 12_string 2009-10-21 14:37:30 UTC
OOo Draw program does not seem to have an erase function. When I want to be able
to erase only part of what I drew, I can't; I have to use :undo" and do it draw
again. For those of us with sensitive mouses this can be annoying.

I do not know if this works for a vector drawing program... anyway, reassigned.

Can you be a bit more specific? What should an "Erase" feature do in draw?
Did you know you can already crop pixel images and you can edit the points of
polygons? You can also subtract shapes so what is missing?

This format is a little confusing. I cannot see where a solution was determined. It appears that the original request was for an eraser function similar to what is found in Microsoft Paint, where you can erase portions of a jpg file.
I have tried the Modify/Shapes/Subtract sequence a recommended in another blog but nothing happens. It may be that the jpg file I opened is not selected properly for editing or some other issue.

I appreciate the Open Office Org. effort and would like to use it exclusively if I can get this issue straightened out.
Thanks for the help,
Jeff
