Sample document with a missing table. none

Description buckwheat469 2009-10-28 17:54:01 UTC
I've been working with my resume which has a table in it for some time and now a
recent update to OOo has made the table disappear. I'm certain the table was in
there because there's a giant blank place where it used to be. I also checked an
old version that I sent to a potential employer and the table is missing in that
version as well. The document was created in Word 2003, then updated in OOo
Writer in which I exported to doc format.

I have a backup of the table but I would like to know if this is a bug that I
should be concerned about.

Thank you.

Please only report issues aginst current versions.
3.0.1 is too old.

Sorry if this was a duplicate, but the updates are automatic for Ubuntu, so
3.0.1 was the latest update I have. The actual version text is:

OpenOffice.org 3.0.1
OOO300m15 (Build 9379)

I also downloaded the latest version from the OOo website on my Windows XP
machine and it had the same problem.

Please forward me to the duplicate bug report so I can add a comment, if possible.

Once again the duplicate is issue 101451 which has been fixed for 3.1.1.
Now if you still have this problem in a =>3.1.1 version, then no, it's not a
duplicate of it.

In this case please attach a sample document.

BTW: when reporting here, you are supposed to check your findings in our native
OOo version and not in the Ubuntu version only.

In fact, I checked this issue in the latest Windows version, as I reported in my
second comment. It would be best for all OSes to use the same code source and
for the updates to be synchronized, so Ubuntu doesn't use an older version than
Windows. Just a suggestion.

That's a little uncalled for. In response, when answering bug reports, you are
supposed to be friendly and read the customer comments completely. As I stated
before, I have already downloaded the latest OOo version for Windows and I
performed a search before even entering this bug report. I would appreciate some
civility next time.

In my eyes, this is the same problem as documented in issue 99024.
The table gets extremely high values when saved in MS Word format. The table is
still available in your document - open the Navigator, right click on "Table 2"
end choose "Edit". Then correct the values and re-save the document. Please do
this with OOo 3.1.1 - the bug is in 3.0.1.
Do you agree?

Closing as dupöicate of issue 99024. Please upgrade to OOo 3.1.1.
