Demonstrates the PageToScale & Pagebreak Update Problem none

Description Oliver Brinzing 2003-01-14 18:11:06 UTC

I'm missing the following featurers in OO ...

An api

a) which refreshes all print pages of the document, e.g.
when the user changes the zoom of the page style, or insert/
deletes some row or column breaks, the number of print pages can
change ... there is no direct way to do the update ...
The function should return the "PageCount" ... or better
   a string like "1-3;4-5;6" (Sheet1 has the pages 1-3 ...)

Remember: there can be more than one print range in a sheet and
you can have lots of row/column page breaks mixed with
             the print ranges ...

b) which returns the print pages of a sheet (e.g. "Sheet2"
has the pages "3-4") ... so you can print them directly ...

c) an api, which returns the Page Count per Page Style (cause every
Page style starts counting with "1" ...

Please have a look at Issue #4078 too

Demonstrates the PageToScale & Pagebreak Update Problem
Comment 4 Oliver Brinzing 2004-12-20 17:10:20 UTC

from time to time, I have a look at my older issues ...

and i am still missing the api to

- update the printpages
- get the print pages for a all/specific sheet
- get pagecount for all sheets, that share a page style

what i would like to do is to build an java addon print dialog with a tree
structure to display all print pages ... this would make user handling
much easier as you could use displaynames instead of numbers for selection ...

- MyDocument
  - Sheet1 (1-2)
  - Sheet 2 (3)
  - Sheet 3 (4-x)
      Page ...

hopefully my x-mas wishes come true with oo 2.0 :-)

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
