Description daynagale 2009-11-16 18:02:23 UTC
When creating charts in Excel if you right click, Chart Options, Data Labels
"Series Name". This option includes the name of the series on the chart. I
have examples but cannot attach to this issue.

I have researched this issue and was informed that currently Series Names are
not available. I was encouraged to to submit an issue to request that feature.

valid request.
Currently OOo shows only "data series 1" or "data series 2" etc, although a name
is used in the data range dialog.

Yes, displaying the series name within data labels is a missing feature that
should be implemented within OOo. Thanks for reporting this issue!

With a stacked chart, see attached document below.
Menu Insert > Data labels, unable to have legend keys.
Uncheck "Show category" and that disables "Show legend key" checkbox.
