Hi , I have a presentation that contains links to other presentations. These 
ones also link to more presentations.

When using PowerPoint, if we click in a link to another powerpoint, new file is 
open in "presentation mode" withouth the need of pressing F5. Moreover, if we 
press Esc, second PowerPoint gets closed and the first presentation appears 
again.

With Impress, the behaviour is different. When clicking a link, second 
presentation automaticaly appears in edition mode and i have to press F5. When 
we press F5, it goes back to edition mode, instead of dissappearing. And i have 
to manually close it.

We’ve tried version 3.2 and the error is still in there.

I was able to replicate this bug using Windows 7 Home Premium with OOo-dev 3.4.0 build 9657.

To replicate: 
1) Make a new presentation in Impress
2) Insert a blank slide that holds content like the Title, Content layout.
3) Put some content inside the slide like a lorem ipsum paragraph or something.
4) Save this presentation in an easy to find place like your desktop.
5) Repeat steps 1 – 3.
6) Embed a hyperlink to your first presentation inside of this new presentation. Do this by highlighting a word on your slide, pressing insert in your toolbar, and selecting hyperlink. Choose the document option on the left hand side and choose the first presentation you made.
7) Press F5 or start slideshow, and click on the hyperlink. This will open the presentation in normal view, instead of having the slide show already started like Power Point 2010 does.

This bug is does not follow PowerPoint’s example which makes things flow much better. Having to switch between views is a bit inconvenient in any cases where the presenter has several related slide shows leading into each other. An example would be a class that wants to have a main slide show for a lecture and then several related slide shows that can be opened for more in depth information on a subject.

Save both of these to the desktop. You might have to change the hyperlink in the first presentation to match where you have the two slide shows saved.
