Description verndog 2009-12-01 03:18:28 UTC
openSUSE 11.2, KDE.

From Writer, open new document, Labels. It crashes everytime. No logs, nothing
but a dialog Document Recovery, stating the following:

 Due to an unexpected error, OpenOffice.org crashed. All files you were working
on will now be saved.

the problem is nothing was saved due to the fact I didn't have a chance to create
anything.

NOT reproducible with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI
activated [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"! Linux specific?

@verndog:
Do you use original OOo or from Linux distribution?
Does the crash really happen directly after step 'File - New - Label'

I cannot reproduce this problem. Tested it with native 3.1.1 and 3.2 dev build
OOO300m6 on WinXP, ubuntu 9.10 and SUSE 11. Do you work on a certain Linux
distribution, e.g. ubuntu or Fedora running the by-packed OOo build? In this
case, please refer to the distributors support or even run the native OOo builds
which can be downloaded from OpenOffice.org.

Closed, looks like a bug in Novell's repository.
