Even winword isn't perfect!
Attachment id=6509: Screenshot. I opened the .sxw file with OOo1.1beta2, saved it in Word 2000 format and opened it in Word 2000. Attachment id=6510: Screenshot. This is how winword (sometimes) handles graphics & indentation. Please do not make this happen in OOo! HI->MRU: Please verify the behavior between OOo and MS. MRU->AMA: This is the problem we discussed a few days ago. if there is a left indent, it also added as space right of a graphic, when it reaches the text area. I also think, that we should change this "Feature". Our current behaviour is a feature and we did real coding for it ;-) We implemented it to display some HTML pages in the right way. If we don't want to change the layout of existing documents we could define a viewoption or extend our wrap property to make this disengageable. FT->AMA: You are now the owner of filter issues. Please cross-check with Oliver-Rainer if this already solved/affected by his new implementation for objects in Word. Accept. Only minor issue. Re-targeted to OO later. It is really a disturbing "feature". Is there a workaround? Mike |
