Confirm with WIN XP 3.1.1, but I beleive it's a feature, not a bug. And indeed, that can cause strange effects: 1. Input "1 €" to 'A2' (pls. use your local currency) "1,00 €" will be the result 2. Type "1/3" to 'A2' "40.238,00 €" will be the result May be it would be useful to be able to switch off this function If this is a "feature", it was (perhaps) cloned from Excel (I checked w/ Excel 2003, same behaviour...). Confirmed on Rev. 1507307 Win 7. The origin to this error IMHO is enabling input of numbers with equal sign. Equal sign should be used only with functions. Numbers should be entered as is. |
