Description Joe Smith 2010-02-13 21:31:29 UTC
The STYLE function can be used to apply a cell style through a conditional
formatting formula.

However, when STYLE is used in this way, it seems to prevent cell notes from
popping up as usual when the mouse cursor hovers over the note cell.

Although this use of STYLE and conditional formatting is somewhat unorthodox, it
is very useful, and it should not interfere with the notes feature.

See the attached document for a sample.

I see the same behavior with both 3.1.1 and 3.2rc5, on both Windows and Linux.

I reproduce this behaviour with OOo 3.2.0 and OOO320m16 under Linux (Ubuntu 8.04)
If AutoCalculate is desactivated notes work as expected but it not a workaround.

The fact it works when autocalculate is desactivated maybe linked to issue 21357.
