Description Joe Smith 2010-02-26 02:49:32 UTC
Open the attached sample document and follow the instructions included there
(paste five characters from a formatted paragraph into a text frame).

Writer will freeze/crash using 100% cpu.

The problem seems to have something to do with the frame being too small for the
text because making the frame wider before pasting will prevent the crash, as
will changing the “indent after text” to zero before copying.

MRU->OD: open attached document, select "11-23" (there's a non breaking hyphen
in between) and copy/paste into frame -> loop.
It looks, that the "indent after text", which will be copied, makes Writer to be
confused.

Tested again with AOO 4.0 on Fedora Linux 17: same result, crash with 100% cpu.
Comment 4 Joe Smith 2014-04-17 23:52:54 UTC
Crash still occurs in AOO 4.1 beta (Fedora Linux)
