Step to reproduce :
- open some text document
- ctrl+F to open Find&Replace dialog
- in search field right click and choose Insert special character
Nothing happens. Same problem for Dev300_m72.
It works as designed in OOo 3.1.1
The bug is reproduced under Linux (Ubuntu, Open Suse, Fedora), MacOS 10.5.8, but
not under MS-Windows-XP.

Probably same bug occured in the past :
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=73923. It had been fixed for
OOo 2.2
