Test1 Original excel, test2 OO3.2, test3 OO 3.1.1
Reproducible with test kit, "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE[OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]", "Ooo-Dev 3.2.1 multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [OOO320m16 (Build 9497)]"! After "save as EXCEL 97" buttons in "Test1_new.xls" will only be visible in OOo after reopen, not in EXCEL VIEWER. Buttons visible (but do not work) when I save document after I ungrouped buttons. Also other form fields (I tested with added check boxes in attached sample documents) are affected, grouped fields will be invisible in EXCEL VIEWER |
OS: Windows XP SP3 running wia VirtualBox on linux Excel Version: 2002 OO versions: 3.2.0 build 9483 & 3.1.1 Build 9420 I'm not seeing how to upload example files, but this is what I did to see if this was re-creatable. I created test1.xls In Excel with 6 buttons created with the form toolbar on Sheet1 cleverly named button 1 etc. Each button is is linked to a separate macro in module1 which does 'msgBox("Button 1") etc. There are also some hyper-links to navigate to sheets 1-3, and each sheet is a different color. Pretty simple. I open in OO 3.2 and the buttons work. I save as test2.xls - Tools->Options->Load/Save->VBA Properties has all options checked. I open test2.xls in Excel and the buttons are missing and Excel usually crashes when trying to close the file. Similar results when saving with OO 3.1.1 in Linux (Kubuntu)
