following Issue 112067 I have the following idea:

Most CSV we get are from foreign sources. so we have no influence which
character for value separating and decimal separating are used.

there it can help to see in the dialog which values are detected as text (= left
align) or numbers (=right align).

Another idea is:

not only format the date format into the different ways (DMY, MDY, YMD) but also
be able to set a column as Number with decimal.
