Not sure what to include, so please let me know if there are certain log files
or something of the sort that I need to attach. 

The issue is simply: it was working with osx 10.6.3, but after the update to
10.6.4 it stopped working. It seemingly crashes right on start up.

Here's what I get when I try to start OOo from within the application package
contents (which subsequently opens a terminal):

/Applications/ ; exit;
/Applications/ -p
