Only seen on Mac OS X 10.4 INTEL so far; Could not reproduce it with 10.6

Used OOo version DEV300m83

Run the VCL TestTool test, it tries to install 26 extensions:
testautomation/extensions/optional/e_platforms.bas
Curently it will stop at about the 5./6. one and office is frozen, and needs to
get killed.
On which extension the error comes up is not reproduceable, it just happens four
times during the install of the 26 extensions.
Last action that was performed was to answer the question if it should be
installed for curent user only, or for all: this was answerded with yes -> for
curent user only.

@tbo please repeat the tests using a m84 since the extension manager changed
significantly.
