i want to change background of several selected cells but i can't (i've put screencast on the rapidshare)

As you can see in the bug.avi video, you have canceled the selection before calling context menu. Please clear on the support forum if it's a wrong manipulation from your side or a special case linked to the document.  http://user.services.openoffice.org/

MRU->OS: you need to create a table where a cell breaks onto a new page. select the row which breaks across pages and right click into selected part on second page -> the selection is canceled.
