Step-by-step

1. insert a picture in to a writer document
2. choose description via right click
3. try to insert a footnote reference.

I tried the following way: set a footnote reference outside the picture frame
and copy it into the frame => nothing happen

with version 3.2.1 it crashes here

with version 3.2.1 i get the crash code rc9s28n

BTW: the menu entry you mean is not "Description" but "Caption".
