"Find & Replace" button name visible when one try to add this button 
to new Find toolbar is not localizable. Tested in CWS ooo330l10n. This is a 
follow up of similar and fixed http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?

I can confirm this (using cws ooo330l10n with 100% German localization)

the correct localized string should already exist, as the icon to call the Find
& Replace dialog is already present (at the standard toolbar).

Seems as there is a second (unnecessary) definition of this icon.

Same for spanish, checked with our own test build based on OOO330_m1 and with
100% UI translated and integrated.

cd: Confirmed.

cd: Problem is related to the fact that the volunteer added an entry to the
findbar.xml file. The attribute toolbar:text="Find &amp; Replace" sets a user
defined text for the toolbar entry. Therefore, even if the command has a
localized description, a "fixed" text is visible. Removing this wrong attribute
will solve the problem.

cd: This issue is not related to the Writer. The wrong findbar.xml file can also
be found in Calc, Draw and Impress.

The  modules sglobal, sweb, swxform also contain the wrong findbar.xml.
