Reproducible with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE[OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]" "Ooo-Dev 3.3.0
multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [DEV330m1 (Build 9514)]".

After step 3 from report Wizard from first chart waits for marking data range in
second spreadsheet. You only have to press enter there (or <Esc> in first chart)
to get control back to keyboard or mouse, so it's not a big problem, but a bug
without doubt.

I believe it's for all OS, but currently only known for XP.

@wleionline:
What OS did you test?

I found this bug in XP

BTW I don't think it is a Chart problem. It is related with making a modal
dialog works as a modaless.

It can be reproduced from following step
1. Launch OOo33m1 and new a SC doc.
2. Click "Data->Validity" to open Validity dialog
3. Select Cell range for Allow listbox
4. Click Shrink button
5. New another SC doc, then click "Format->Page" to open a modal dialog, then
click "Cancel" button to close this dialog.
6. Then you can not operate these two documents anymore.
Comment 3 Rainer Bielefeld 2010-08-06 08:18:28 UTC
Yes, I agree. Second example seems to have common roots with first example in
spreadsheet UI, and second example shows a more dangerous behaviour, I did not
find any way to leave that situation except terminating OOo3 using task manager.
The second problem can not be reproduced with 3.1.1 because there is no cell
range selection pane in the validity dialog.

The problem does not appear with 3.3. and menu 'Insert -> Name -> define' and
proceeding as per comments from wleionline Fri Aug 6
