I have installed the impress. When i tried to open and run the slide show then i
got windows access violation blue screen error and my netbook got restarted.

Am using Acer Aspire One 751h netbook. I tried in other netbooks of the same
model and in other os's too.. There also when i say start presentation, then the
netbook got restarted.

This is a known problem on netbooks (driver problem). Please try to uncheck
tools/options/view/graphics output/hardware acceleration. This should fix the
problem.
