OS: windows XP SP3 v.5973 OOc Version: Dev_OOO330m6 Intel T2130, 2gb ram, intel 943 motherboard, 80gb hard disk no other application was running network connected I can reproduce the problem partially. My trying process is like this: 1.Open the OOc, click Presentation 2.Creat an empty presentaion 3.Add a new slide 4.Paste the pic to both slides. 5.Set a custom animation to the pic in first slide. Entrance:Fly In. Speed:fast. Timming:0.5 sec 6.Set transparency of the pic in second slideto 80% 7.Set the slide transition as split horizontal in 8.Save the file as .odp 9.Close thr 10.Open the file All the configuration remained the same except the speed drop box turned to be empty Then, I changed the step 8. Saved the file as .sxi. The situation was the same. Finally, I saved it as .ppt. The transparency of the second pic was reset to 0%. I closed the OOc and reopened it , did the same test, the same problem happened. Summery: If a file is saved to .ppt, the configuration of transparency is lost. I think this issus will make the users feel unconvenient. If they want to use some animations or pics, making slides more attractive and impressive, this issue would force them to set the animation or pics everytime they reopen files. I can not confirm this in 3.2.1: Done everything as your write, but time 0,5s stays in the box as it should be. pls see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=114854 for transparency being lost when saving to ppt. Environment: Platform: Personal computer AMD Phenom II X4 970 3.5GHz 8G Ram Operating system: 64bit Windows 7 Ultimated Edition SP1 Open Office Impress version: OOo-dev 3.4.0 DEV300m106(Build:9582) Microsoft Office PowerPoint version: MS-PowerPoint 2010 Plus Steps taken: 1. Open OOo to Impress. 2. Create a new presentation in the presentation wizard. 3. On the initial slide provided, insert some text. 4. Apply custom animation to the text. 5. Right click on the animation item, select Timing. 6. In the timing dialog, change the delay time. 7. Click the OK button. 8. Click on file->save as. 9. Select the format: Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP. 10. Save the slide. 11. Open this slide in PowerPoint 2010 Plus. Result: After the slide opened in PowerPoint 2010 Plus, all the custom animation remain there, but the delay time turns out to be all 0.0 sec. |
