After using office several times maby 3 or 4 office refuses to open for use.

For the last 6 or more times I've tried to start up Open office I get a message that says something to the effect . . .  has encountered an unexpected problem and has shut down . . . this is followed by recovery of the files that were last open when it was shut down.  This happens regardless of the type of file that was open when I had previously shut it down.

Hi, can you please confirm if this problem still occurs with current Open Office version. What operating system are you using.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE MY PROBLEM.  wHEN OPENING OPEN OFFICE, I almost always get the message (not responding) after a while it will respond, HELP
I am not very computer literate, just look up stuff, and send email
