Description amoroder 2010-09-22 14:56:22 UTC
Hello,

it would be easier to automate the distribution of openoffice if the
openoffice32.cab would be integrated into one big openoffice32.msi

Bye
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

what is your scenario? We have a One-File-Download installation set and the
multi-file installation set, in which you find the msi-database, the cab file
but also the important files setup.exe, setup.ini, licenses, readmes, ...
There would only be one file less.
You have a scenario in which you only use the msi and the cab file?
Bye

  Ingo

I bump this issue.
Is it possible to have this enhancement in the next 4.1?

Hello,

An enhancement request on the format of AOO 4.1 installation files for Microsoft Windows.

Files. exe proposed require installation as administrator.
Use right-click on the file is still not a reflex of users and causes many problems which are raised in the Forums.

LibreOffice offers. msi since.

Would it not be appropriate to also offer files. msi?

Cordially.
