Currently in the fontconfig code, when deciding what's the name of the font we
are searching in order of "Exact Language", "Close Language", "First Entry". I
suggest we should use "Exact Language", "Close Language", "English" "First Entry".

Yup, this change also seems to be the best antidote against the performance regressions introduced by 
issue 110722.
