Description nothingbutlime 2010-09-29 10:20:50 UTC
THe preferences dialogue appears to open fine at first glance. Upon opening the preferences dialogue,
Voiceover speaks the words, " options, OpenOffice.org, "user data, OpenOffice.org, empty table".
However, when attempting to navigate this dialogue with the tab key or by using control-option-left
arrow or control-option-right arrow, OO will crash. I cannot move around the screen at all. In some
instances, moving around will result in Voiceover speaking the word busy. It will keep saying this if I try
to move around, and about ten seconds later, OO will present me with the crash reporter. In some
instances, the crash is almost instantaneous. Attempting to navigate the preferences dialogue will
present me with the crash reporter right away. I can find no rhyme or reason for what process will resort
in a delayed crash vs. an instantaneous one.

I have been opening the preferences dialogue in one of two ways: a. Hitting command-comma. THis
automatically causes the preferences dialogue to come up in any mac application. b. 1. WHile in OO, I
press control-option-m. THis brings me to the menubar. 2. I press right-arrow. THis brings me to the
OpenOffice.org portion of the menubar. 3. I press downarrow three times. THis brings me to the
preferences option in the OpenOffice.org menu. 4. I press control-option-space to select the
preferences option.

I could not reproduce this problem on MacOSX 10.6.4 using OOo 3.2.1. Are there
perhaps additional settings reagarding accessibility tools that might be
necessary to reproduce this ?
