Start Impress, insert a few slides using the toolbar drop-down control. Then
select all slides in the slide pane using the mouse and change their layout to
empty slide layout also using the drop-down control in the toolbar. As a result,
the navigation in the slide pane via arrowkeys does not work anymore.

Seems that focus is getting lost. In addition, a mouse click somewhere in an
empty area inside the slide pane or within the slide sorter remove focus
visualization from the slide that is focused (frame). However, if you change to
another's application window in Windows Vista and then back to Impress,
everything works again.
