When trying to open the language settings tabpage via 
Tools/Options.../Language Settings/Languages a MSVC runtime error
is shown and the office crashes. This happens on a DEV300 m94 wntmsci12.
Note, that only the non-pro version is affected!

The problem seems to be related to a Graphite font installed on the system.
The method GraphiteLayout::Glyphs::fill_from() may be a starting point for
debugging.
