When opening calc and word files, I get the ASCII option selection message and
files are not readable.  This is in just the last few days.

The same problem occurs after copying good version from backups.

My system is Windows7 Home Premium 32bit on a HP Pavilion p6120t, Prod#AV976AV#ABA.
